Adding a Forum

Adding a Forum to a Discussion Board

1. Click on Control Panel or Click on the Discussion Board button within your course.

2. Click on Add Forum.

3. Create a title and a description for your first discussion topic. It is good practice to give specific directions so that the student can navigate the discussion board easily. Suggestions include: Click on the underlined title of this discussion thread. Next click on the first message that has been created. Read this message and then click on Reply and a textbox will open where you can post your comments. After completing your comments click on submit.

4. Click in the boxes for the Forum Settings you would like to use in your Discussion Board.

5. Click on Submit.
